Thanks to Chesco Stitch~n~Bitch for a much needed night out on Tuesday! My "Allie" purse is still far from being finished, but knitting with all of you the other night really motivated me to continue with it the rest of this week. I am eagerly looking forward to the next night out in September.

This week was thankfully quiet. I am enjoying these last few weeks before the madness starts again in September. I have planned some little day trips with the boys to help break up the next few weeks. Today, my neighbors and I took all of our kids to Springton Manor Farm in Glenmoore, PA. We had a great time seeing and petting animals, looking at tractors and farm equipment, etc. (AND it was free!) Of course, my boys loved the stinky pigs the best, but my favorite part of the farm was The Butterfly House. It's a beautiful, screened in garden that houses many different species of butterflies. A butterfly actually landed on my shoulder! I was feeling honored and quite proud of myself, until a 17 year old kid (that works there) told me it's very common for butterflies in a communtiy such as this one, to land on people. I, however, am choosing to ignore that little twerp and view it as a sign of good luck. :-)

Quote O' the Day-
May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun. And find your shoulder to light on. To bring you luck, happiness and riches. Today, tomorrow and beyond. ~An Irish Blessing

Hi Lauren! I've heard about that farm but haven't made it there yet. I heard they do a sheep shearing day in the spring. I think that's very cool the butterfly landed on you! I'm enjoying your quotes!
